In case we haven't chatted already, here's a small update.
This little window company you know has been through a lot of loss and love. It began with Regina and Jesse, then passed to Olimpia and Daro after Jesse died. Recently, Daro passed away as well.
In the middle of all that, I somehow decided (apparently as a man with questionable survival instincts) to officially make my LLC in a business with a high husband mortality rate.
Jokes aside, I've been talking and working with Olimpia while she's stepped away from window cleaning. For those that know her bright energy, big heart, and yes, ferrets, she sends every one of her customers a big hug. And she's been pouring that same love into candles she's made for everyone.
My name is Al, and I've been helping with her scheduling and work these past few weeks. Before that, I did the corporate/business route, where I saw how badly people are often treated. That pushed me to start my own business: one that pays living wages, has profit sharing, and where I donate 1% of my profits to my local animal shelter. I've been doing window cleaning, power washing, screen replacement, gutters, and more.
If you messaged Olimpia and haven't heard back, I'm still digging through all her messages and working with her customers. Translating from Polish is hard :)
